Sembrando Nuestras Raíces
Independence National Historical Park would like to invite you to “Sembrando Nuestras Raíces.” This event, as a part of Latino Conservation Week, will allow the Park Rangers to share the knowledge of medicinal plants and their history in the Americas (passed down through our “abuel@s”). All of this, while allowing you to show your artistic creativity!
Come join us on Saturday, September 21 from 10:00am to 12:00 pm in front of the Liberty Bell Center. No tickets are required. Open to all ages. Program will be in English & Spanish.
Participants will get to take home one of the medicinal plants discussed during the program and paint their own terracotta pot! First come, first serve. Plants and supplies are limited! Don’t miss this great opportunity.
