Kayak the Delaware
¡Únanse al Park Naturalist para un paseo divertido en kayak por el río Delaware! Después de una sesión de estrategia y seguridad en tierra, los participantes se lanzarán desde el punto más al norte del Parque Histórico Washington Crossing y navegarán en kayak 5 millas hasta el Centro de Visitantes con la ayuda del Park Naturalist.
Se suministrarán kayaks, chalecos salvavidas y remos. Es necesario registrarse y los participantes deben tener 12 años o más.Se espera que el viaje dure más de 2,5 horas.
Team up with the Park Naturalist for a fun float in a kayak down the Delaware River! After an on-land strategy and safety session, participants will launch from the northern most point of Washington Crossing Historic Park and kayak 5 miles to the Visitor Center with assistance from the Park Naturalist.
Kayaks, PFDs, and paddles will be supplied. Registration is required. Participants must be 12 years or older. Expect the trip to last upwards of 2.5 hours.

Tree Planting with the Friends of Beltzville
The Friends will be replacing invasive species with native shrubs and plants. All are welcome to join in. Meet at the Environmental Interpretive Center.

Adventure Hike with Keystone Trails Association
Get outdoors close to home. Keystone Trails Association leads an approximately three-mile guided hike exploring trails in a state-protected forest spanning over 1,000 acres on Blue Mountain. While we walk, learn more about the plants and animals that are our neighbors while you enjoy the healthy benefits of hiking.
Transportation will be provided to and from Latino Hispanic American Community Center courtesy of Pennsylvania Parks & Forests Foundation. Please pack water and insect repellent, if available. The outing is suitable for families, but participants must be able to walk the three-mile distance, including some moderate uphill sections. If heavy rains or storms are anticipated, the event will be rescheduled.

Join us for a Fiesta de las Estrellas with refreshments at the Red Mountain Wilderness Trail Head. Learn about our galaxy by looking through a telescope with the St. George Astronomy Group. At the edge of the Red Mountain Wilderness in the Red Cliffs National Conservation Area, the night skies will be dark and the stars will shine brightly!

Storybook Walk

Bikes and Bagels Ride Along the Beautiful Virgin River
Bring your bike and meet us at Sullivan Park for a Community Bikes and Bagels Ride along the beautiful Virgin River Trail. Free coffee and bagels and a bike safety talk to begin, then a family-friendly 5-mile roundtrip ride over gorgeous sections of boardwalk beside the Virgin River. Let us know if you need to borrow a bike!

Meet the Reptile Celebrities of Red Cliffs
Beat the heat in the St. George Library and meet Tu-wee the Desert Tortoise, Charlie the King Snake and Hercules the Gila monster. These are the reptile celebrities, and endangered species ambassadors, of Red Cliffs. They’re here to take photos with the family and teach you how to protect their desert home. Enjoy tortoise trivia and games, and earn your badge to become a Certified Tortoise Defender.
