Evening Turtle Walks: Latino Conservation Week

Take a once in a lifetime walk with sea turtles.

July 22nd 2022

A Turtle Walk is a unique program that allows our visitors to learn about and observe the nesting and egg-laying process of sea turtles. With the approval of State issued permits, experienced Loggerhead Marinelife Center scouts will patrol our designated section of Juno Beach searching for sea turtles while visitors enjoy an informative presentation on the plight of sea turtles. This event will be from 9:00 p.m. -12:00 a.m.

This year we will be participating in Latino Conservation Week 2022: A Hispanic Access Foundation initiative created to support the Latino community getting into the outdoors and participating in activities to protect our natural resources. We will offer a free Turtle Walk in Spanish. We can only accommodate 30 people. Children must be 10 years or older to attend walks and all participants must be able to walk up to half a mile.
