Our friends at the Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park and I personally invite you to be our guests and join us for “Camina con communidad Latinx” on Wednesday July 17th from 12pm to 2pm at Brandywine Falls located in Cuyahoga Valley National Park. We guarantee this to be day of fun and relaxation as you experience the beauty of nature within our community and national park! This is a free event and transportation and lunch will be provided. Vamos Afuera con Latino Outdoors San Antonio!What a great way to kick off Latino Conservation Week in Tejas. July 13th-17th is an opportunity for Latinos to come together and demonstrate their passion for the outdoors -- both for enjoyment and preservation.FREE park entrance for all volunteers.We are waking up early to clean up along the beautiful banks of Guadalupe River State Park. We would love to have you join us as we help keep our parks clean. The work will not be strenous and you can go at your own pace. We will provide gloves, bags and tons of positive vibes : )).This is a Hydro Flask sponsored event which means we will be having some beautifully LO-branded Flasks to give away to some lucky folks. Along with this, we will also give away some recycled Deuter dirt bags courtesy of REI. It never sounded so good to give back to Mother Earth : )). Did I mention we are providing a light lunch as well?Let's learn and teach to ~ LEAVE NO TRACE, RECYCLE, and REUSE.Spaces will be limited, so if you RSVP, please make sure you can attend.We will send more info on exactly where to meet-up that morning, once we get a little closer.See you there!

To celebrate LCW 2019, the Coconino National Forest in partnership with Latino Outdoors will host an event with Forest Archeologist Dagmar Galvan and Roving Ranger Estephany Campos where you will learn about the Sinagua Culture and the importance of preservation and stewardship of archeological resources. "Hidden Cave" Tour
The Churchill County Museum, and the Carson City District Bureau of Land Management welcome you to a tour of Hidden Cave. “Hidden Cave” was named because of the difficulty in finding its small opening.Hidden Cave Tours are offered to the public on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month (excluding federal holiday weekends). The Churchill County Museum opens at 9am on these Saturdays, and the tour starts here where you can enjoy the Hidden Cave display at the museum. Meet the BLM guide at the museum at 9:30am, and watch a short video on the history of Hidden Cave. At 10am, caravan out to the cave site for your tour. http://ccmuseum.org/hidden-cave-tours/
Family Fishing Festival/Festival de Pesca para Familias
Join Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge as we enjoy the natural waters around us through fishing! Fishing is open to the public and there is NO COST to participate! Fishing rods and bait will be provided. Event open to all ages. Food trucks will be on site and free beginner lessons will be given throughout the event in both English and Spanish. | El Refugio de Vida Silvestre de Minnesota Valley va a disfrutar el verano con un Festival de pescar! Jordan River Cleanup
The beautiful Jordan River is littered with trash. Join your community and partners of the Jordan River Commission to help clean it in Celebration of Latino Conservation week. Meet at 1700 South Boat Ramp in Seven Peaks east parking lot. After enjoy a celebration after at Fisher Mansion at 1206 West 200 South in Salt Lake City.
