Sumérgete en un viaje histórico por el río con los guardaparques Steve Hernandez y Ricardo Rodriguez. Esta excursión en canoa te llevará a través del tiempo, explorando la rica ecología del río y cómo las prácticas comerciales del pasado han transformado nuestros ecosistemas fluviales. Descubrirás los secretos de los mejillones de agua dulce, aprenderás sobre los antiguos viajes de troncos, y conocerás el papel crucial de los castores en la salud del río. Una aventura educativa y emocionante que conecta la historia natural con las tradiciones culturales de Oregón.
Este evento gratuito está abierto para todas las personas a partir de los 6 años, y se llevará a cabo completamente en español.

Celebrate Latino Conservation Week by getting out onto the landscape with the Southern Utah Wilderness Alliance and our partners at the Bureau of Land Management!
Camp, share meals and work to protect wild places, plants and animals through hands-on restoration and protection work in some of Utah's most beautiful landscapes.
Consider this your outdoor classroom in land management, biology, ecology, outdoor experience and more!

Free Fishing Program
The NYSDEC I FISH NY program is excited to offer a free and engaging outdoor education experience through fishing. We provide all the necessary equipment, bait, and instruction will be in English and Spanish (1pm-2p). Space is limited for each one hour session. The event is first come, first served.

Discovering what it means to be a Latino exploring the outdoors. What is our role in conservation? How can we change the narrative? How we can we mobilize to be advocates for nature in our own lives? These questions and more are explored over a weekend trip camping in Northern Minnesota, taking in the sights of the Great Lakes.

LCW Archery Session
You are invited to join us for an exciting inflatable archery session in celebration of Latino Conservation Week. This activity is open to all ages and promises to be a lot of fun! It's a great way to have some fun, and learn about conservation!

To kick off Latino Conservation Week and Hispanic Heritage Month – Join HECHO (Hispanics Enjoying Camping Hunting & the Outdoors) and the Hispanic Access Foundation for a dynamic event! Learn from Latino leaders about the importance of protecting public lands, advocacy efforts and policy tools to permanently protect the places for us and future generations.

Latino Conservation Paint Night with Francisco Ramirez
Celebrate Latino Conservation Week by creating a painting of blueberries in the mountains with Francisco Ramirez. Originally from Oaxaca, Mexico, he is a local artist that now resides in Anchorage. You can find his art and murals around town. This paint night is for anybody with an interest in creating art about nature and learning more about Latino culture. All skill levels are welcome. Everyone is an artist!
For ages 10 and up. This event is $40/person; register at Recreation.gov.
