Big Morongo Canyon Preserve Native Plant Walk

Event Description:

Participants in this event will be treated to a guided, bi-lingual experience in the beautiful Big Morongo Canyon Preserve, located in Southern California's Sand to Snow National Monument. Guides will focus on native plants found in the preserve - their habits, historical uses, and practical applications. An interactive activity will take place at the on-site Visitor's Center, allowing for additional learning. Be sure to wear layers, a hat, and sunscreen, and bring plenty of water and healthy snacks. The preserve has a lovely picnic area, so feel free to also bring a brown bag lunch if you'd like to continue to enjoy the beauty of the area after the event's conclusion.
