Event Description:
Come see the coast redwoods and enjoy your public lands in Muir Woods National Monument and celebrate Latino Conservation Week! Visitors on this day will be greeted with an abundance of exploration. Our partner, One Tam, will bring the Tam Van to greet you and talk about things nature in and around Mt. Tamalpais, which Muir Woods is part of. Latinx National Park Service scientists will host discovery tables on trail where you can learn more about the resources they protect and how you can help protect the places protected for you. In addition to all that, park rangers will host a collection of programs like ranger talks (10:15, 1:15, and 3:15) and a guided tour (11-12).
Make sure to purchase a parking reservation on GoMuirWoods.com if you'd like to park a car here. Entrance fees can be purchased with parking or in person - $15 for adult, kids 15 and younger get in free.
