The concept of “territory” in the social sciences is fundamental for understanding the spatial organization of human societies and the dynamics of power, identity, and belonging. At the core of TERRITORY is Miami’s unique identity. As the city continues to evolve, exploring what truly characterizes it becomes essential. Historically a major destination for tourists, the experience of living in Miami has evolved over time. The illustrated pieces in this project serve as a catalyst for meaningful discussions about our community and its essence.
