Event Description:

A Rocha, Austin Youth River Watch, Latino Outdoors, Texas Conservation Corps, and Pease Park Conservancy are joining forces to celebrate Latino Conservation Week at Pease Park!

This evening event will feature activities such as:

• Stories on the Go zine-making by Austin Bat Cave

• Arborama! A Tree Game

• Native seed packet making

• Nature-inspired arts and crafts

• Nature-themed movie screening

• Giveaways

This event is FREE and fun for all ages to build community and engage in an outdoor setting. Bring a blanket and pillows to lay on during the screening.

Latino Conservation Week: Floreciendo Juntos is an initiative of Hispanic Access Foundation. Latino Conservation Week was created to support the Latino community getting into the outdoors and participating in activities to protect our natural resources.

Este evento es GRATUITO y divertido para todas las edades, con el objetivo de fomentar el espíritu comunitario y disfrutar del aire libre. Traiga una manta y almohadas para recostarse durante la proyección.
