Arizona Sustainability Alliance Adopt-A-Park at the Rio Salado

Event Description:

Join Arizona Sustainability Alliance (AZSA) in a hands-on effort to restore the Rio Salado habitat!

AZSA Adopt-A-Park
  • Volunteers will be working to beautify the Rio Salado Habitat Restoration Area in a variety of ways depending on the needs of the city of Phoenix and the Audubon. Activities may include: planting shrubs/pollinators, pulling invasive species, and removing trash.
  • This park is visited by thousands of people and provides much-needed habitat for wildlife.
  • Beautifying this area will benefit not only those who work at the Audubon center, but those who visit the park, both two-legged and four-legged.
