Hispanic Access: Latinos Leading the Way

Event Description:

As part of this month's cafecito, we are celebrating the beginning of Hispanic Heritage Month with a webinar titled "Latinos Leading the Way" on Thursday, September 19.  Joining us for the conversation will be Hispanic Access founder Maite Arce, Dr. Ana Alvarez, East Bay Regional Park District, and Armando Falcon, Manager of Community Engagement & Partnerships at the American Red Cross.

Latinos are increasingly assuming leadership roles across the public sector, bringing with us a wealth of experience, cultural insight, and a profound commitment to equity and social impact. As leaders, we are at the forefront of driving change, empowering marginalized communities, and shaping policies that cater to the diverse needs of the populations they serve. Our leadership is not just about breaking barriers, but also about inspiring a new generation of diverse leaders who are dedicated to building a more inclusive and just society.

Please note that the Zoom link for this month's meeting has been updated, and registration is required. I look forward to seeing you next week!
