Trails Clean Up – Roll-up your sleeves and help restore the natural beauty of the Springs Preserve’s trail system. A great way to volunteer and celebrate Latino Conservation Week! Limpieza de Senderos: Hora de arremangarse y ayudar a restaurar la belleza natural del sistema de senderos de Springs Preserve. ¡Una excelente manera de ser voluntario y celebrar la Semana Latina de la Conservación! Nature Walk and WaterWorks Museum Tour – Connect with the outdoors and learn more about Southern Nevada water resources in this bilingual tour. Take a walk through the Springs Preserve’s trail system, native habitats, and archaeological sites before touring an active pump station where you can learn where our water comes from, how it’s delivered, and how our community conserves it! Plus, enjoy a refreshing treat (delicious paletas) as you complete the tour and trail walk. Sunday, September 15 & Sunday, September 22, 2024, 8am at the Trailhead. (Free, reservations are required.) Caminata por la naturaleza y visita al museo WaterWorks: conéctate con el exterior y aprende más sobre los recursos hídricos del sur de Nevada en este recorrido bilingüe. Da un paseo por los sitios arqueológicos de Springs Preserve y la estación de bombeo activa, donde aprenderás de dónde viene nuestra agua, cómo se entrega y cómo la conserva nuestra comunidad. Además, disfrutaras de un refrigerio (deliciosas paletas). Domingo 15 y 22 de septiembre a las 8 am en Trailhead. (Gratis, solo reserva tu lugar).

 

Springs Preserve Garden Party – Join us for a fun, family-friendly event at the Springs Preserve. Enjoy a 20-minute bilingual garden lessons on what to grow in your backyard this fall, along with drop-in activities for kids to learn all about desert gardening – including what kinds of critters live in the garden, how plants grow, and how to conserve water! Take advantage of these exciting outdoor activities, enjoy some treats and take home a children’s garden kit (limited quantities available). Fiesta en el jardín de Springs Preserve: únete a nosotros en este evento familiar. Disfruta de demostraciones de jardinería bilingües de 20 minutos sobre qué cultivar en tu jardín este otoño, junto con actividades sin cita previa para que los niños aprendan todo sobre la jardinería en el desierto, incluye tipo de bichos que viven en el jardín, cómo crecen las plantas y cómo ¡conservar agua! Disfruta estas actividades al aire libre y llévate a casa un kit de jardinería para niños (cantidades limitadas). Sábado 14 de septiembre de 8 a 11 am en el Jardín Botánico (gratis, solo reserva tu lugar).
