Celebrating Latino Conservation Week and Hispanic Heritage Month

Event Description:

This an initiative aimed at promoting environmental awareness and stewardship within the Latino community. Set against the backdrop of Hyattsville, Maryland, the project utilizes art and cultural expressions to engage and educate participants about the importance of environmental conservation.

The mural project isn't just about painting a wall; it's about transforming our community. Through vibrant colors and intricate designs, we're beautifying our area while also conveying powerful messages of conservation and cultural pride.

There will be Health Resource fair, demonstrations, and experts on hand to provide guidance and information.

And last but certainly not least, the marimba kids concert! It's going to be such a fun and culturally enriching experience for people of all ages. The sound of the marimbas is just so joyful and uplifting. Plus, it's a fantastic way to celebrate our cultural heritage and support our talented young musicians.
