WCVI Webinar: New Rules on EVs and the Impact on California Latino Communities

Event Description:

Dear Friends,

Please join us this Wednesday, July 19th at 6pm PST for a webinar aimed at raising awareness about California rules on Electric Vehicles that will have implications for Latinos.

The California Air Resources Board ruled last year that all new cars sold in California should be free of green house gas emissions by the year 2035. We'll explore the impact of this ruling on Latino communities including a recent survey, affordability and access to charging stations.

Speakers include leading California EV experts:

Russell Contreras, Senior Race and Justice Reporter, Axios Latino

Rocio Flores, Chief Social Impact Officer, USC Credit Union

Greg Sarvas, Electric Transportation Programs, LADWP

Honorable Hilda Solis, Supervisor, Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors*

We invite you to register today and to share this invitation with your networks.
