Event Description:

Join TREESOURCES for Latino Conservation Week. Our staff will guide you through the ins and outs of murcielagos (bats). Participants will get hands on in building a bat house out of locally sourced lumber. Treesources staff Alex Held-Martinez will teach about the types, importance, habitats, and ID-ing of Florida bats.

This event is free and open to all ages.

Please wear closed toe shoes and bring a bottle of water and sunscreen.

Latino Conservation Week is an initiative of Hispanic Access Foundation. Latino Conservation Week was created to support the Latino community getting into the outdoors and participating in activities to protect our natural resources.
