Hike Juntos @ Harpers Ferry

Event Description:

REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED

Join Latino Outdoors DMV for a hike in beautiful Harpers Ferry, West Virginia. All are welcome!

Hike Details:

Distance: ~ 2 Miles

Difficulty: Easy to Moderate (~200 ft elevation gain)

We'll meet at the Harpers Ferry Visitor Center at 11:00 a.m. and hike until 1:30 p.m.

Dogs are welcome but must remain on a leash at all times.

While this event is free, the Harpers Ferry National Historical Park has an entrance fee of $20 per vehicle. If you are interested in carpooling, please email diana.ramos@latinooutdoors.org.

BRING THE FOLLOWING:

  • Sunscreen, hat
  • Full water bottle
  • Sturdy shoes or sandals with straps (FLIP FLOPS ARE NOT ALLOWED)
  • Bug repellent (optional)
  • Snacks (optional)

IMPORTANT INFORMATION PLEASE READ BEFORE REGISTERING:

After registering, please look for a pop up and email from Eventbrite with the link to complete your waiver (this will be through SmartWaiver, not Latino Outdoors). During the week before the event, you will receive another email with more instructions on preparing for the event.

If you cannot attend, please let us know as soon as possible by emailing diana.ramos@latinooutdoors.org. Spots for this event are limited.

Please provide the age of every participant when registering and register each person individually with their names and age. This is required.

Detalles sobe la caminata:

Distancia: ~ 2 millas/3 km

Nivel de dificultad: Fácil a Intermedio (~200 pies de subida en total)

Nos encontramos en el centro de visitantes de Harpers Ferry a las 11 a.m., y caminamos hasta la 1:30 p.m.

Pueden llevar a sus perros, pero es necesario que cuenten con correa para pasearlos.

Si bien el evento es gratis, el Parque Nacional Histórico de Harpers Ferry cobra $20 por auto. Si quiere compartir auto para llegar al parque, puedes enviar un e-mail a diana.ramos@latinooutdoors.org.

  • Botella de agua (llena!)
  • Zapatos duros o sandalias deportivas (NO SE PERMITEN LAS CHANCLAS)

INFORMACIÓN IMPORTANTE, FAVOR DE LEER ANTES DE REGISTRARSE:

Después de registrarse, podrá ver una ventana nueva y recibirá un e-mail de Eventbrite con el link para completar su formulario de exención (lo cual se hace por SmartWaiver, no por Latino Outdoors). La semana previa al evento recibirá otro e-mail con más instrucciones para prepararse para él mismo.

Si no puede asistir por alguna razón, favor enviar un e-mail lo antes posible a diana.ramos@latinooutdoors.org. Las plazas para este evento son limitadas.

Se requiere colocar el nombre y la edad de cada participante de manera individual.
