Western Riverside County Wildlife Refuge Hike and Mountain Bike Ride!

Event Description:

Hispanic Access Foundation in collaboration with Defenders of Wildlife will be hosting an event at the proposed Western Riverside County Wildlife Refuge on July 23, 2022 as part of Latino Conservation Week in support of legislation designating the Western Riverside County National Wildlife Refuge. Rep. Ken Calvert and Rep. Mark Takano recently reintroduced legislation, the Wildlife Refuge Conservation and Recreation for the Community Act (H.R. 972), which would establish this important urban refuge that will serve millions of Californians.

You will get the opportunity to mountain bike with a local mountain biking club, enjoy a hike and enjoy some activities with your kiddos. If you are interested in mountain biking please arrive at 7:00am. Don't forget to bring your bike and any other essential items you will need. If you are interested in the hike or activities, please arrive at 8:30 am. Don't forget to bring sunscreen, a hat, a refillable water bottle, and any other essential items you need.

We will be providing breakfast burritos, beverages, and other goodies! Please let us know if you will be joining us so we can add you to this list. If you have any questions please fell free to reach out to Juan at juan@hispanicaccess.org
