Latinxs In The Outdoors

Event Description:

Come celebrate Latino conservation week with The Frontera Land Alliance and Hueco Tanks State Park and Historic Site!! Join us on a guided hike through Hueco Tanks and learn about Latinx heritage and culture in the outdoors!

 

This tour will be an easy 1 mile ground-level hike. Some crouching will be necessary.

 

*Note: this event is not free. RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED. Call park headquarters (915) 857-1135.

Tour Fees:

$9 for persons 13 and up

$2 for children under 12 years

$2 for persons with Texas State Park Pass

 

What to Bring:

  • plenty of water

  • snacks

  • weather appropriate clothing

  • sun protection

  • sturdy shoes
