Paddleboarding on Whiskeytown Lake

Event Description:

Come explore the clear waters and sheltered coves of Whiskeytown Lake with our bilingual ranger!

Designed for those with little or no previous experience on a paddleboard, this ranger-led experience will introduce you to paddleboard basics and help you gain confidence as you discover a new way to experience Whiskeytown Lake.

Whiskeytown Lake is nestled among the hills and valleys of the Klamath Mountains in northern California. Expect hot weather and opportunities to take a refreshing dip in the lake. Equipment provided. Bring water, sun protection, drinking water and shoes you don't mind getting wet, or strap-on sandals.
