Event Description:

Queremos invitar a todos a celebrar la Semana Latina de la Conservación con nosotros! Salga al aire libre, aprenda sobre la conservación y aprenda sobre las formas de ayudarnos a proteger las valiosas tierras de hábitat.

We want to invite everyone to celebrate Latino Conservation Week with us! Get outdoors, learn about conservation, and learn about ways to help us protect valuable habitat lands.

Niños más pequeños y a los fanáticos del arte les encantará esta actividad! Pinta tu propia casita de pájaros  la exhibes a las personas, y a los pájaros y para que todos las disfrtuen. No se necesita reservacion. Disponible hasta que se agoten los materiales.

Younger kids and artistic enthusiasts will love this activity! Paint your own birdhouse and display it for birds and people to enjoy. No reservation required. Available while supplies last.

Póngase sus zapatos para mas comodos y acompane a un naturalista del refugio en una caminata de 0.89 millas alrededor de Marsh Trail. En esta caminata, se aprenderá acerca de los signos de la vida silvestre, la historia de los Everglades, la importancia del agua, ¡e quizas hasta lluege a observar algunas aves zancudas, venados/ciervos, y lagartos! Es recomendable utilizar zapatos de punta cerrada,y llevar agua, y un sombrero.

Get your walking shoes on and join a refuge naturalist on a 0.89 mile walk around the Marsh Trail. On your walk, you’ll learn about signs of wildlife, the history of the Everglades, importance of water, and you may even see some large wading birds, deer, or alligators! Closed toe shoes, water, and a hat are recommended.
