Latinx Conservation Week

Event Description:

Join us for a casual conversation with Latinx Leaders on the Central Coast. We'll highlight existing enviornemental and conservation work in the region and the barriers and opportunities to creating a stronger movement amongst the Latinx community.

Our guest speakers include:
• Gloria Sanchez-Arreola, Outreach Coordinator, Wilderness Youth Project
• Ana Rosa Rizo, Senior Organizer, Food and Water Watch/Action
• Lucia Marquez, Policy Advocate, Central Coast United for a Sustainable Economy
• Xochitl Clare, Marine Biologist & STEAM Educator, University of California, Santa Barbara 
• Graciela Cabello, Director of Youth and Community Engagement, Los Padres ForestWatch
