Beach Yoga Hikes on Connecticut Shore

Event Description:

Inhale the salty sea air and serene coastal views on a guided nature yoga hike along the Connecticut shore this summer. * gentle yoga * guided meditation * active hiking: 1/2 mile roundtrip over gentle slopes, grass, rocks, sand * learn inspirational facts about the flora + wildlife of this park * Conservation theme: Plastic-Free For the Sea + Birds * Yoga mats optional * No yoga or hiking experience necessary. ***** Cost: Free, otherwise pay what is in your budget. To hold your reservation, a $5 refundable deposit for each participant must be sent to paypal.me/NutmegYoga Upon check-in at the yoga hike you will receive your $5 back via PayPal unless you choose to count it towards your class. These are donation-based classes with compensation to the certified instructor and 10% back to Connecticut Audubon. The Connecticut Audubon Society manages 20 wildlife sanctuaries encompassing almost 3,300 acres of open space in Connecticut, and educates over 100,000 children and adults annually. A signed waiver is required for participation. Youth under 18 years of age must have a guardian’s signature to participate.
