Red Mountain Park organizará una búsqueda del tesoro en la naturaleza para niños el domingo 15 de septiembre, de 15 a 16:30.  

Traiga a sus hijos al Red Mountain Park el domingo 15 de septiembre para explorar el parque y la naturaleza en una búsqueda del tesoro. A cada niño se le dará una lista de cosas para encontrar entre una milla desde la entrada del parque. No es necesario coger los elementos de la lista, y pedimos que no lo coges, simplemente encontrarlos y tomar una foto si quieres. Cada niño puede entregar su lista y recibirá un pequeño premio. 

Este evento es más adecuado para niños de 3 a 10 años. Al menos que un adulto tenga que estar presente con cada niño o grupo de niños.

Red Mountain Park is hosting a kid’s nature scavenger hunt on Sunday, September 15th, from 3-4:30 PM.

Bring your kids to Red Mountain Park on Sunday, September 15 to explore the park and nature on a scavenger hunt. Each child will be given a list of things to find within one mile of the park entrance. It is not necessary to pick up the items on the list, and we ask that you do not pick them up, just find them and take a photo if you want. Each child can hand in their list and will receive a small prize.

The purpose for this event is to bring awareness of God's creation and the importance of conserving the natural resources given to us. The event will offer an opportunity for youth, children, and their families to contribute to the community through our privilege and gratitude to expand on the God's creation by planting. The families will learn through activities including an activity in which they can take home to measure how clean their environment is. This event will provide resources to assist the families what they can do to conserve energy at their homes and around their surroundings. Food and refreshments will be provided to those participating.

Resources will be handed out in a flyer of the Portfolio Manager website and quick tips on a flyer will be provided so guests can see what can be done to conserver our environment.

La meta del evento 'Aire Puro, Futuro Seguro' es aumentar la conciencia y el conocimiento de los estudiantes, sus familias, y algunos maestros miembros de la iglesia sobre la calidad del aire y los efectos del PM2.5 en la salud. A través de actividades interactivas y educativas, se espera que los participantes comprendan la importancia de mantener un aire limpio y aprendan acciones prácticas que puedan implementar en su vida diaria para contribuir a la mejora de la calidad del aire en su comunidad.

The evening will begin with a delicious dinner provided for all participants, offering a chance to connect with fellow nature enthusiasts. Afterward, we'll embark on an exciting nighttime exploration, where you'll have the opportunity to learn about the fascinating world of scorpions and observe these incredible creatures in their natural habitat.

As the night deepens, we'll turn our gaze to the skies for a stargazing experience like no other. We will talk about the constellations, planets, and the rich cultural significance of the night sky in this serene, remote setting.

Whether you're a seasoned outdoor adventurer or new to exploring the wonders of the desert, this event promises an unforgettable experience that celebrates the beauty of nature and the importance of conservation. All ages are welcome, and no prior experience is necessary.

En este encuentro vamos a hablar de la naturaleza y la importancia de cuidar de nuestra creación. La Naturaleza puede generar muchas emociones positivas como calma, creatividad y puede facilitar la concentración y la salud mental.

The 2024 Philly Fall Nature Festival at John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge promises a day filled with outdoor excitement and exploration. Join us on September 14, 10 am - 3 pm for free all-day activities! The festival is set to be the refuge's highlight of the year with a variety of activities to enjoy, including archery sessions, guided nature walks, live music performances, crafts, and refreshments. Want to see the refuge trails with a Ranger? Hop on a trolly tour! Put your angler skills to the test and join in on fishing at Darby Creek! The “Nature in Focus Contest” award ceremony, hosted by Friends of Heinz Refuge will be celebrating outstanding wildlife photography, and all are invited to participate. Visitors can also meet live animal ambassadors brought by Philadelphia Metro Wildlife Center and Elmwood Park Zoo. Don’t forget to stop by one of our partner tables to learn about local organizations and resources within Philadelphia & Pennsylvania. We can’t wait to see you there!
