Latino Leadership: Promoting Conservation and Celebrating the Creation Care

Event Description:

Our event will take place at the Iglesia de la Encarnación. The centerpiece will be a film screening of the documentary, “The Letter”, which tells the story of frontline leaders traveling to Rome to discuss the encyclical letter Laudato Si’ with Pope Francis. This film was carefully selected by C3 and our project partners to drive engagement and stimulate thoughtful conversations around justice issues associated with the ongoing climate crisis.

Following the screening, we will facilitate a dynamic panel discussion featuring trusted experts to delve into the themes and challenges presented in the film. The panel discussion will incorporate an interactive question-and-answer session, allowing the audience to actively engage in the conversation.
