Bayside Birding at San Diego Bay National Wildlife Refuge

Event Description:

Meet at Bayside Birding & Walking Trail on the San Diego Bay NWR. We'll be looking for marine wildlife and birds, and possibly a short service project such as trash pickup or weed-pulling.
The tide will be at a 1.5 - 3 foot height which will be great for finding shorebirds in the Otay River.

We'll have simple goodies and giveaways, and hopefully perfect weather. It may be hot, so make sure the folks you invite wear sunscreen, hat, and bring a reusable water bottle. Comfortable walking shoes are good too. The trail is stroller-friendly, so make sure the whole family is invited!

Portable restroom available.
1 mile total walking distance.
