Culebras de Mississippi River State Park

Event Description:

As part of Latino Conservation week, Mississippi River State Park is presenting this program in Spanish. Snakes are a common critter found in the State Park and National Forest. Knowing a little bit about their purpose and how to stay snake aware can keep you and our native snakes safe. Park staff will cover how snakes play an essential role in keeping many of our pest populations in check. We will be sure to cover the ones you need to watch out for as well as discussing the ones that only pests need to worry about.
