Up Against the Stream

Event Description:

Join Hispanic Access Foundation and the U.S Fish and Wildlife for a free Yoga event at the Columbia Pike Public Library on 816 S Walter Reed Dr. From 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm the community will learn about the inspiring lives of salmon through an hour yoga class followed by art activities. This is a family friendly event (ages 7 and up). Space is limited to 50 people.

Latino Conservation Week is an opportunity for Latinos to come together and represent their passion for the outdoors. It represents the commitment and the experiences that Latino communities foster for wildlife conservation and public land. The campaign begun by Hispanic Access Foundation is part of their national initiatives and programs whose mission is driven by an effort to augment access and improve the lives of Hispanics in United States.
