Lovell Canyon Clean Up and Camp-Out

Event Description:

We will camp out Friday night, July the 14th, in Lovell Canyon and wake up early to participate in a clean up that will go from 8am to 10am the morning of the 15th. On the evening of the 14th we will be meeting at 6 pm in the wash in Lovell Canyon on Lovell Canyon Road. The camp out will be primitive car camping as there are no established campsites. No campfire this time as there is a fire restriction in place. Both the camp out and the clean up are open to the public. Please bring sunscreen, closed toe shoes, and a reusable water bottle for the clean up. For the camp out please bring your own tent, your own sleeping bag, your own sleeping pad or inflatable air mattress, your own dinner and breakfast. I will have a camping stove you can borrow, but not cookware you can use. I will have hot water available. Please rsvp for the camp out with outings leader Christian.Gerlach@SierraClub.org or 7022716485. And please just show up for the clean up.
