Lower Salt River: Kayak and Clean-up

Event Description:

On July 18th, Sierra Club will collaborate with the Boys and Girls Club and Chispa in cleaning up debris along a six-mile stretch of the Lower Salt River on kayaks as part of Latino Conservation Week. The group will also learn about conservation efforts on these public lands through community speakers. Furthermore, the group will learn the history of the Salt River, how to navigate a kayak, and how to get involved in the Tonto Forest Plan revision. EVENT FULL
