An afternoon that promotes Latino engagement with outdoor garden spaces in the city and shares the idea of sustainability. Mill City Grows will join the National Park Service in creating an event where people can get together to plant their own herbs and learn how to maintain them in their own homes. There will also be a salsa tasting made with the fresh produce grown by Mill City Grows themselves along with a talk on the importance of creating and conserving green spaces in the city where people can grow their own food.
