This event is to be a 1-1.5 hour intercultural roundtable between Latino leaders and key community members, and Native American leaders and key community members, followed by a 1-hour reception. The hosts will develop discussion topics and questions to help guide conversation around access, inclusion, cultural heritage, history, etc. The aim of the event is to deepen the relationship between the Latino and Native American communities and explore issues of mutual interest that will be important in the management of the new national monuments, National Conservation Lands, and the future of conservation in the California desert.
