Help celebrate Latino Conservation Week – July 16 to 24 - by connecting with our #heritage on a hike to the top of Sentinel Peak (“A” Mountain). This challenging four mile round-trip hike from the Mercado San Agustin will go along dirt trails and the road and up 600 feet to the 3000 ft. Peak
We will gather afterwards at the Mercado for food and drinks (not provided) – and for a discussion of heritage conservation and efforts to have President Obama create the #GrandCanyonHeritage National Monument to further protect cultural resources in Arizona.
Bring water and sunscreen and a hat. It will be warm!
