El Vuelo de las Mariposas - The Flight of the Butterflies - Film Screening

Event Description:

"The Flight of the Butterflies" describes the incredible journey of thousands of Monarch Butterflies that travel annually from Mexico to Canada. This special screening will be part of "Latino Conservation Week." The documentary is 45-minutes long; there will be a brief introduction and opportunity for discussion afterwards. The documentary will be presented in Spanish with English subtitles.Refreshments will be provided and there is no charge for this even. Please invite your family, friends and neighbors!The most incredible migration on Earth, is that of the Monarch Butterfly. “Flight of the Butterflies” is a story that spans not only thousands of miles, but generations. The documentary follows the life and travels of “Dana,” for over 1,500 miles from Mexico to Canada, along with her daughter, granddaughter and great granddaughter. It is one incredible trip you won’t want to miss!"El vuelo de las mariposas" describe el increíble viaje de miles de mariposas monarca que viajan anualmente desde México a Canadá. Esta proyección especial será parte de la "Semana de la Conservación Latina". El documental es de 45 minutos de duración; Habrá una breve introducción y oportunidad para discusión después. El documental será presentado en español con subtítulos en inglés.Tendremos refrescos y el evento es gratis. ¡Invita a tu familia, amigos y vecinos!La migración más increíble en la Tierra, es la de la mariposa monarca. "El vuelo de las mariposas" es una historia que abarca no solo miles de millas, sino generaciones.
